You can avoid banks altogether now. There are so many options for the prepaid cards now. You can even deal just with visa or mastercard as well. I have found it cheaper to have a prepaid card than a banking account because the checking accounts have way higher fees and the prepaid cards have really low or even free fees. Hey greenhigh2006!
